With These Hands.....

Happy New Year and I hope that you and yours are all safe and well. Good riddance to 2020 - what a year it was and I am relieved to have made it through to the end!

Due to the Pandemic, I have not been able to see many of you in person at our usual creative classes and workshops but you have been sorely missed. Still, I have been busy using the available time in the studio to create new products, courses and kits for you all to have fun with in the courtesy of your own homes.

Hopefully you found some time to be super creative in 2020 and many of you have shared images of your making, knitting and sewing with me during the Lock-down periods.

I will be including some of these in these monthly newsletters in the Creative community Sections so please keep sharing your creative projects in 2021 - we love seeing what you are all making and it keeps the rest of us inspired to keep going!

Take care and stay safe! Xx

New Arrivals For 2021 - Product Updates

Sadly I have only able to run a few in-person courses at the start of the year in 2020 but it was lovely to see all of you who were able to attend one of them.

So I spent most of last year creating new products, more class content and creative kits - all of which will be released shortly and will soon be available on the Pink Alpaca website and also in our Etsy store.

Please keep checking back in both areas for regular news and updates as well as on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Probably my biggest news for 2021 is that, due to popular demand, I will be moving to online courses this year! So now you will be able to pre-order one of my kits and then learn along with me in the comfort of your own home!

I am so excited about this new prospect and in developing the content for this new area of our small business and hope that you will continue to support me with this new venture!

Feel free to send me an email to let me know which courses you have missed the most and would like to see first as I love hearing your ideas.

Our kits will soon be available for sale and will arrive within days, (and well in advance of your booked class or workshop), once you place your online order.

Instructions will also be sent as to how to view and participate in the class on the day of the workshop.

You will also now be able to request one-to-one tuition in the same way, as long as you have access to a camera on a mobile device, laptop or computer. Why not book 30 - 60 mins with me to ask any of your creative questions or seek advice about a project that you would like to make at home?

I hope that you will enjoy the new products and events that I have planned and will share in the creation and development of this new format. I look forward to seeing you back in one of our workshops and having fun making along with others again very soon!

"YOUR SHOWCASE"

SHINING A SPOTLIGHT ON PINK ALPACA'S CREATIVE COMMUNITY

As we have been apart for so long, I have decided to feature your work here in our monthly newsletters and also on our Facebook/Instagram pages! Hopefully this will help us all to stay creatively connected to each other but also to inspire, offer support and ideas to each other in between workshops.

So.... each month I plan to feature some of your artistic work and items that you have been making before, during and after one of my workshops, This will of course rely on you sending me news of your projects and photos of your creative activities so please keep them coming!

This month we feature the amazing work of Charlotte, who attended one of our beginner sewing courses two years ago and has never looked back!

Charlotte has since attended the intermediate and advanced dressmaking courses, and also booked a felt-making class with her gorgeous nieces and nephew as an extra special gift in 2019!

She has become a prolific and accomplished sewer and I think you will agree that her work is both beautiful and inspiring. I especially love her fun choice of fabrics for children in the gift bags below.

Thank you for sharing these great pictures with us Charlotte and we look forward to seeing what you will be making next!
